Is it possible to set the source of relationships in a question to be answers to multiple previous questions (i.e. any name entered earlier in the survey)?

I’m afraid this is not currently possible. You can pipe from one to many but not from many to one. It has actually been a fairly common feature request though and I agree that it would be a great addition. It would be great to see it added to the feature requests here when you have a moment: https://newcommunity.polinode.com/c/feature-requests. That way others can up vote / comment on it.
