Would it be possible to size nodes by an attribute? Perhaps it would only work for yes/no or true/false attributes. But it would be good to be able to increase the size of the nodes to see where they sit within the network while also colouring the nodes according to their attributes.
Or is there a better way to easily view multiple attributes?
Hi @ryanarcher. Perhaps I’m misunderstanding your question here but you can indeed size nodes by any numerical attribute. You would simply go to Size then Nodes and select the numerical attribute to size by. Does that help? If you have categorical attributes that you want to size by you can change them to numerical (i.e. add an additional attribute) and then size by them.
Thanks @apitts, I realised I can size them by numerical attributes, but hadn’t realised it was only for numerical values. Perhaps it could work for non-numerical values too? Or true/false survey answers?
No problem @ryanarcher. To achieve what you are looking for you can export the network to Excel and then add a new attribute with the categorical attribute mapped to a numbers of your choosing. Then hit edit and update the data with that file. You can then size by that new numerical attribute.
